Welcome to Alpha Lens ("we," "our," or "us"). By adding the Alpha Lens bot to your Discord server or using any of our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract to use Alpha Lens. You must also comply with Discord's Terms of Service.
2. Use of Service
Alpha Lens is a Discord bot and website that surface publicly available cryptocurrency and stock market data and analytics. While we strive for accuracy, we make no guarantees regarding the data provided, its timeliness, or its completeness. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
3. Not Financial, Investment, or Trading Advice
Alpha Lens is an informational tool only. Nothing it provides is financial, investment, legal, tax, or trading advice, and nothing it provides is a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy, sell, or hold any asset.
This includes, without limitation, all market data, charts, price information, "trending" tokens, alerts, signals, rankings, and any output of commands such as /top. The mere fact that an asset appears in Alpha Lens' output is not an endorsement of it or a suggestion to transact in it.
We are not a financial advisor, broker-dealer, investment adviser, or fiduciary, and no advisory relationship is created by your use of the service. You are solely responsible for your own decisions. You should conduct your own research and consult a licensed professional before making any financial decision.
4. Assumption of Risk
Cryptocurrency and securities markets are volatile and risky. You may lose some or all of the money you invest. Digital assets are largely unregulated, can be subject to fraud and manipulation, and transactions on blockchains are typically irreversible. By using Alpha Lens you acknowledge and accept these risks, and you agree that you use any information from the service entirely at your own risk.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree not to misuse our service or help anyone else do so. Misuse includes but is not limited to:
- Attempting to reverse-engineer or extract data from the bot
- Using the bot to spam Discord channels
- Using our services for any illegal purposes
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
6. Paid Plans and Payments
Certain features require a paid subscription. Payments may be processed on-chain (e.g., via Solana). Because blockchain payments are generally irreversible, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds except where required by law. We may change pricing or plan features at any time; changes will not apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Alpha Lens are owned by us and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
8. Changes to Service
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the service (or any part thereof) with or without notice at any time. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuance.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, or secure.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, or for any trading or investment losses, resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the service or any information it provides.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $100.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alpha Lens and its owners and operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
13. Governing Law
